Bolin Webb Favourites from Great British Brands
During February the Bolin Webb Team attended the Country and Townhouse Great British Brands celebration at The Londoner Hotel in Leicester Square. The event was a great opportunity to meet some of the minds behind Britain’s best brands. This sparked a conversation in our team as to which brands featured in the 2022 Edition are our favourites.
Derrick Webb – Founder
Terence Conran's founding vision was to champion simple and useful design - a place to find inspired contemporary products. Timeless design to be seen too.
A beautiful combination of technical performance and material choice. Naim talks of successful design as a result of a team effort. Very true.
Jonathan Boston – Sales Director
John Smedley | High quality knitwear made in England.
For me one the truest examples of a GBB for today, making out their Derbyshire factory with a well rooted passion for producing the most timeless yet contemporary finest British crafted knitwear that is well respected worldwide.
Land Rover | The luxury SUV marque taking excellence to a new level.
Ever evolving, yet steadfastly iconic. Its new generation Range Rover with its breath-taking purist detailing with effortless true British luxury. Its launch was a masterclass in luxury marketing and design.
Ben Oxford – Marketing and Account Manager
Duke and Dexter brings a level of calm simplicity to the chaotic world of trainers and casual footwear. There is no brash branding or tasteless colourway, only great design. The shoes have the versatility to be worn anywhere with anything.
As a surfer myself Lignum Surfboards immediately jumped out when flicking through our copy of Great British Brands. The craftsmanship of the bespoke wooden boards is incredible. Every item is made by hand entirely from sustainable wooden materials.
