You can use razors on sensitive skin, although we recommend anyone who feel they are vulnerable should seek medical advice first. A skincare product such as a shave cream or gel can also impact the skin. A R1 razor with a Mach3 cartridge has fewer blades that a X1 or Generation razor with a Fusion Proglide cartridge, which shaves especially closely.

Firstly, we prefer you do not cut yourself at all. And any cut or nick should be very slight.The best way to prevent a cut is to be sure to soften your beard with warm water, the razor blade is not blunt, and to shave carefully in front of mirror. The sharp razor blades are encased in a plastic molding to ensure that the cutting edge is limited to the greatest extent. This is by far the most important safety feature of cartridge blades, particular when compared with traditional single flat blade safety razors.
