"For the Olympic Games you shave everything"

Gold medallist Tom Dean, Great Britain's champion freestyle swimmer, gives a good account of wet shaving in an interview by Mike Christensen of style magazine GQ .

Tom explains: "For the Olympic Games, you shave down – arms, legs, chest, back. But it's not even about the hair… You dive in that first day of racing, having shaved the night before and the feel for the water is just completely different.”

This week, 24 year-old Dean won the men’s 4x200m freestyle relay at the Paris Olympics alongside fellow swimmers James Guy, Matt Richards and Duncan Scott.  Dean was also a Gold medallist at the 2020 games in Tokyo.

To conclude, for the closest wet shave, turn to a Bolin Webb Generation shaving razor or X1 shaving razor, both fitted with a Gillette Proglide blade - the best way to shave those seconds off!

Generation was named by British GQ as Best Shaving Product 2023.
